Growing Great Support
About this workshop
People need the right support at the right time in the right place to help them improve their lives. Getting commissioning and procurement (planning and purchasing) right is essential to growing flexible, sustainable supports of all kinds; from 1:1 support through to wider community services.
The Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership has been working with Healthcare Improvement's Scotland's Improvement Hub (ihub) to develop their approach to strategic commissioning. As part of this work they are looking to build on existing strong relationships and forge new ones which will help our communities shape health and care solutions which best meet what matters to them.
Independently facilitated by CVS Inverclyde and the Coalition of Care and Support Providers in Scotland (CCPS), this workshop will cover:
• Identify and explore the barriers and facilitators to collaborative
commissioning in Inverclyde.
• Hear about, and draw learning from, current good practice.
• Consider how we can go to scale based on what we've learned.
This event is for people with an interest in how support is commissioned and procured in Inverclyde. This includes anyone from the community, voluntary and
independent sectors who currently provide, or might be able to provide services, as well as organisations that represent and work on behalf of supported people.
