Promoting Social Enterprise
CVS Inverclyde hosted its Social Enterprise Market Place in the Oak Mall Shopping Centre last week, as a follow up to a successful event earlier this year where stalls featured the work of its local social enterprise network members.
Organisations taking part were Ardgowan Hospice, Belville Community Garden, Branchton Community Centre, Business Gateway, CVS Inverclyde, Enterprise Childcare, Financial Fitness, Inverkip Community Hub, Mind Mosaic, Moving On, Riverside Inverclyde, Stroke Association and Your Voice.
Stands promoted the wide range of services they offer, with some also selling the goods they produce. Organisations donated prizes for a series of free raffles, which ran throughout the day.
