Inverclyde 3rd Sector Forum (I3SF) is the overall name given to a collection of opportunities for community groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises to come together to deliver, influence and learn.
The sector is stronger together and I3SF enables organisations to share their experiences & challenges and build relationships & trust. To do this we have:
• An annual third sector conference
• 4 Thematic Networks (Adult Health, Older People, Intergenerational, Children & Young People)
• 4 Practitioner Networks (Chief Officers, Funding, Social Enterprise, Co-production)
Other networks and forums that operate locally have the option of being affiliated to Inverclyde 3rd Sector Forum. These are often networking / representation structures that cover a specific part of the third sector.
The third sector is increasingly recognised as a key partner in the design and delivery of public services. CVS Inverclyde ensures that the third sector is represented on relevant decision making bodies - either by representing the sector directly; or by facilitating the election of a suitable representative.
I3SF is the interface through which the third sector is engaged in the Community Planning Partnership (The Alliance) and the Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership (Inverclyde HSCP) - formerly known as Inverclyde CHCP.
